Composed in Chile during 2015, this work is part of a new series --the title, “Espejismo,” means “mirage” in English-- for unaccompanied wind instruments that is particularly characterized by the use of microtonal resources.
This work was premiered on October 3, 2017, by José Luis Urquieta in the Cervantes Institute Auditorium of Chile‘s embassy in Paris, France.
