This work is Robles's first collaboration with his great friend, the clarinetist Ana Catalina Ramírez Castrillo. The piece was composed in order to be premiered during the South American residency of the YOA Orchestra of the Americas, of which Ana was a member. In honor of her Costa Rican origin, the work is a fantasy based on a popular song of that Central American country, known as "El Coyotillo." The theme is presented at the beginning and is followed by commentaries about itself, while at the same time always highlighting the virtuosity of the performer. Ana Catalina premiered the work in Villavicencio, Colombia, in July 2010.
