One of the advantages of being a subscriber to the Cayambis Connection is getting an insider look into our projects and activities before they are made public. Well, late last month we teamed up with Venezuelan musicologist Juan López-Maya, who has literally unearthed a large number of instrumental works from the mid 19th to early 20th centuries. Titled, “Venezuelan Masters of the Fin de Siècle,” this new series will feature a number of works for orchestra, as well as for concert band and chamber ensembles. Look for all of this to dominate the “New Titles” segment of our next issue.
In the meantime, please check out these new additions to our catalog.
