Set consists of a piano score and one part.
Although composed for cello and piano in 1999, Postcards was never performed in that version; rather, in 2012, Lezcano arranged the work for flute and piano which was performed on February 28, 2016, by Lisa Hansen and Max Liftchitz on a North-South Consonance series concert. In three short movements (“Entre dos mundos,” “Una tarde de agosto,” and “Mambo Jambo”) the work explores a variety of moods and compositional techniques in a hybrid style that owes much to Cuban popular music, jazz and 20th century classical music.
