Single-movement work for concert band.
Grade 4+. Approx. duration: four and a half minutes.
Set consists of a conductor score and multiple parts (see extended description).
This work for concert band is based on two traditional dances from the coast of Peru: the Marinera and the Festejo. The two parts in which the piece can be divided have tempo indications that make use of those names.
Craig Pare‘ conducted the DePauw University Band in the world premiere of this work on October 1, 2017.
