Nonet for flute, bass clarinet, two guitars, violin, viola, cello, contrabass and piano.
Grade 5. Approx. duration: six and a half minutes.
Set includes score and nine parts.
This work, the title of which means “heart” in English, is dedicated to Galindo’s parents and comes from how his father would place his stethoscope on the composer’s rib cage. In this piece Galindo describes life with its ups and downs. It seeks to highlight elements of the musical form known in the Mexican state of Jalisco as “son,” which are seen from his perspective by taking advantage of the syllables Cora and Zon.
