This piece was recorded by the Trió Montecino (David Shea, clarinet; Pablo Mahave-Veglia, cello; and Paulina Zamora, piano) on the Eroica label in 2008. Writing in Fanfare magazine about the recording of this work, Phillip Scott comments, “Dirié displays a subtle ear for sonority; some of his instrumental doublings are quite unlike anything I have heard before.”
