Song for voice and piano.
Grade 4. Approx. duration: two and a half minutes.
Set includes a piano score and one part.
This work, with its text by Carmen Rita Corbera, was composed in 1954 while Bracesco was the director of a regional conservatory in Trujillo, Peru. Its simple, possibly indigenous, melody shares some characteristics with a pastoral from Huánuco, Peru, that was transcribed by Raoul and Marguerite D'Harcourt in their famous book on Incan music.
There are several arrangements of this work, some of which may have been produced by the composer himself. This seems to be the original version.
Nayelí Nina Macedo, soprano.
