This is a work for unaccompanied flute inspired by the wind god of the Incas, Kon, a mythical figure who, according to legend, lacked bones and flesh, but possessed human form and moved lightly and quickly. These characteristics are reflected in the piece through the absence of a defined measure or pulse and the use of non-traditional scales, which evoke a lively, unpredictable and chaotic movement.
