Having just been fortunate to give the United States premier of Cuatro Escenas de Sur for viola and orchestra, I can absolutely endorse the piece as a quality work deserving to be heard and performed! The Tacoma Youth Symphony under my colleague Dr. Paul Cobbs, was able to handle the accompanying orchestra part and the students found it both challenging and rewarding. We all enjoyed ourselves immensely with it! Teachers- a "performance-major" skill level of student could learn and do well with this work. Colleagues - check it out! And the piano reduction works well, giving possibility of recital use.
