Composed in 2016, Role Playing Game Fantasy Suite is an homage to the popular tabletop game that combines game, role playing and storytelling. It is a programmatic work depicting the phases of character creation and the fantasy themed story including a royal quest to slay a necromancer and ending with a victory celebration at a medieval tavern. The work was premiered on March 10, 2018, by the Banda Sinfônica do Conservatório de Tatuí under the baton of Dario Sotelo at the Procópio Ferreira Theater in Tatuí, Brazil.
Formatting. The library/institutional/perusal score, as well as the individual parts for each band instrument, are printed on 9x12 paper. When the score is purchased as part of the complete set of performance materials, it is printed on tabloid (11x17) paper coil-bound on the left hand edge.
