In this volume of twelve duets, the entire range of the instrument is used, including the upper register. The tempi range from slow to very fast; some duets feature sudden changes in speed. All accidentals are presented, and there are also short passages that feature chromaticism. There are a variety of articulations; and grace notes are introduced, as well as trills, mordents and short glissandi.
