Grade 4. Approx. duration: a little more than three minutes.
Set includes a score and four parts.
The rhythms and flavors of Rio de Janeiro (which in Brazil would be described as "cariocos") inspired this brief composition for saxophone quartet. Intended as an encore, there is particular emphasis on the popular Brazilian musical style known as "Modinha," as well as the "Seresta," the "Samba" and the "Chorinho."
